Privacy Policy

This policy describes how cweihan(“I”, “me”) collects and uses information from visitors to my website and clients of my services. I aim to comply with Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA), the EU GDPR where applicable, and other relevant privacy laws.

This page is a starter template and must be reviewed by a qualified solicitor before going live with client traffic.

1. What I collect

I collect information you give me, such as:

  • Contact details (name, email, WhatsApp number, business name) when you fill in a form, book a call, or message me
  • Project information you provide (business details, briefs, content, credentials)
  • Payment information processed by my payment partners (Stripe, Billplz). I do not store full card details
  • Communications you send me (email, WhatsApp, voice calls)

I also collect information automatically:

  • Standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited)
  • Analytics data (Vercel Analytics, Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity)
  • Cookies used for site functionality and analytics

2. Why I collect it

  • To respond to your enquiries and deliver agreed services
  • To send proposals, invoices, and project updates
  • To improve my website and content
  • To meet my legal and tax obligations
  • To send occasional updates if you opt in

3. Who I share it with

I share information only with service providers necessary to operate, such as: Resend (email), Brevo (CRM), Vercel (hosting), Cal.com (booking), Stripe/Billplz (payments), and Google Workspace. I do not sell your information.

I may disclose information if required by law or to protect my rights.

4. How long I keep it

Project records: 7 years (tax compliance). Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe. Form submissions without follow-up: 12 months.

5. Your rights

  • Access the personal data I hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion (subject to legal retention obligations)
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time

6. Cookies

I use cookies for site functionality and anonymous analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Some site features may not work fully.

7. International transfers

Some of my service providers are based outside Malaysia (e.g., Vercel in the US, Resend globally). Where I transfer your data internationally, I ensure appropriate safeguards.
